We’ve made it to November and the holidays are just around the corner! A week ago, I received “Fit Quickies” in the mail. I gave it as a gift to myself! My friend, Lani Muelrath, the author of “Fit Quickies” had suggested that we do a giveaway of her book here on UVC and I was all for that! Exercise is a key component for a healthy body, mind & spirit! This book would also make a sweet gift to give someone for Christmas, by the way!
I really enjoy Lani’s straightforward, positive and caring writing style. I was telling her that I haven’t had time to really get started on the book and she wrote back, “Just start with the first one!” That’s the key, isn’t it?! We just need to start and go from there! I really enjoy the layout of this book! Lani goes over each muscle group and how to best work it out for maximum benefit! The other thing I love about Lani and her book is that she recommends a whole food plant-based diet. In addition, she also touches on motivation, plus the mental & emotional issues related to health, wellness and diet. If anyone would know, it would surely be Lani. Check out Lani’s then and now photo. This surely is bound to be motivation enough, I’d say! Lani knows what she’s talking about!
